Our first week of VBS went so well thanks to all the planning, prayers and dedicated volunteers! It was so encouraging to see kids opening up over the course of the week, and we are excited to build on those relationships with the campers who are returning for week 2. Also, we are celebrating that 7 kids and 1 student leader decided to pray and follow Jesus!
Please continue to pray for us as week 2 finds many of us under the weather and battling kid-fatigue. I know this week will fly by, and I know that any weariness we feel comes from doing good, good work. However, the weariness needs to be overcome and/or pushed through, and your prayers would help with that 🙂 Please pray for the volunteers, that we will be a healthy, united and supportive team; please pray for the kids, that they will be engaged with the different activities, they they will behave and learn; please pray that our church can connect with families who need spiritual support so that we can continue the relationships we are building with these kids.
