Happy Birthday to Me!

It has been 28 years since I emerged into the world. What a crazy thing! Thanks for pushing me out, Mom, I don’t take it for granted.

I have been thinking of other milestones that this year means for me:

• 7 years since I’ve been married
• 4 years since I’ve been pregnant (Matt and I went camping on the September long weekend while Torre was cooking away)
• 10 years since I met Matt
• 14 years since I had cancer
• almost 1 year since I trained as a doula (and discovered my dream job)

And I had to look back through the archives to see that it’s been 6 years since I started blogging here. It’s cool (and scary) to look back at posts over the years and see the ups and downs, the different topics I’ve been interested in, and all the ways I’ve changed and not changed. I am always grateful to have this outlet to process, be creative, and share what I’m learning, and I am most grateful to those of you who read along and journey with me 🙂 Today is special to me, but most of all it reminds me of how much I have to be thankful for.
